Ocean Buffet in Saint Robert

Good food and variety for the price. Didn't expect good Asian food in Missouri, but was pleasantly surprised. Not the most authentic, but for a buffet, it's not bad at all. Great price and great service. The waitstaff were very nice and conversational.

This is everything you can ask for in a buffet. I'm my option it's not 5 star food but it will satisfy and entire family of cravings. There's anything from pizza to sushi not in the mood for either maybe a assortment of asain foods will fit you bill. With excellent service and amazing smells it gives you no reason to not just go in a take a look. Plus with the unlimited amount of food it's a good place to go if you need to fill that hole in your stomach. Eat as much or as little as you would like. What's keeping it from 5 stars. This is a problem I personally have with most if not all buffets and is well know. The food isn't as high of quality as a restaurant that specializes in that type of food.

Very clean resturaunt, service is excellent and fast. Food is always hot and fresh. This place is on my top three places in St Robert to eat at. I highly recommend Ocean Buffet.

The food is really good. Especially the hibachi grill. Lots of options on the all you can eat Chinese buffet. And always excellent service.

More options and higher quality than other chinese buffets. Mongolian beef! Just as good as you would get if you bought it as an entree in a restaurant. The sweet and sour chicken was prepared with high quality breading - not the gooey stuff normally found at buffets. 5 or 6 soup options! Lots of yummy sushi. Plus a Mongolian grill. Dang.

My favorite place to eat in St Robert MO. I have never had a bad meal there.

Ohhh so good. The buffet is awesome. Always have fresh trays of everything. Good quality. The servers are on top. Of their game for getting plates out of your way. Taking one star away beacae the bathroom was pretty gross. But the food and service are amazing.

Best buffet in town. Hands down. Has a little bit of everything so even the picky eaters will be happy. Sushi bar has a good selection and Hibachi is made to order. The catfish on the dinner buffet is the best catfish I've had around here.

Perhaps the best value restaurant in our booming metropolis town of St. Robert MO & one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve seen. The food is always tasty, fresh & plentiful and the owner & his staff are taking the pandemic seriously w all employees masked and plastic gloves & hand sanitizer available for all patrons. Kudos to our waitress Senia who is always cheerful, friendly & quick to remove dirty dishes. She’s a real gem. Thanks for the 10% military discount. We’ll be back!

I eat all over the country. Food in Missouri is often sub-par, and Asian buffets in the mid west are sub-par as well. The food here is definitely above my expectations. While there are definitely better Asian buffets in places like San Francisco the food here is definitely great compared to what I normally expect in this part of the country. The place is clean and there are lots of choices. Price for lunch buffet was good too.NOTE TO TRUCKERS: There is easy truck parking nearby at Walmart. It's only a 3-5 minute walk from there. :)

I really liked this place for the variety! They even had a Hibachi grill there with Sushi! Sushi was very good, and the hibachi grill, well, it was ok, but it was still offered. As much as you care to eat for about $8 with tax a day isn't too bad. Not entirely Japanese quality that I've gone to for Hibachi, but Sushi was very good. It was almost like a Japanese/Chinese/other oriental type food. I would go here again. I went to another Japanese restaurant, and it's not the same, but how can you complain for a buffet for $8? Their egg drop soup was very good! Like I've said before, for the money I spent it was very good; but if you want authentic Japanese food, go to a specific Japanese restaurant.

The best buffet place in the area!!!! Stop by and check this place out for a nice Chinese buffet that has a huge variety to choose from. I was impressed at how clean the restaurant was and how fresh the food tasted. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area for a few days and have burned yourself out from the other restaurants in the area and you are looking for a buffet.

I was able to have a very lovely dinner with my family I really enjoyed the clean wonderful open-air environment they have wonderful sushi bar as well as a Hibachi Bar as well as all you can eat Chinese food I was very comfortable and for this i give 5 stars

The food is good, but the waiters are sometimes pushy about the check when its time to pay. I didnt even finish eating when they bring the check and insist to pay quickly like I'm trying to enjoy the food.

I really don't know how this restaurant has many good reviews, because the food is bad, and the service was decent. Very dissapointed. The sushi taste like spicy cat food wrapped in rice. After hearing many good reviews about this restaurant, we decided to make the 30 mile trip just to be dissatisfied. Our baby enjoyed his boiled egg more than we enjoyed our food. Wish I got a steak instead.

The budget options are varied, offering something for pretty much everyone. My one complaint is that I don't think they are using Coke products. If you ask for a Diet Coke, what you get is something with a taste that is off; something I have observed each time I went there.

We have eaten here a few times as the wife likes it, I do not. The food is not good, not bad but just not good. It all tastes the same. This is a place that is good for quantity over quality. If you like the food then it is a really great price for the amount of food you can get and the variety of food. Just not the place for me.

Placed a to-go order and was pleasantly surprised with the prompt service. The dishes were more than sufficient to serve 3 people, which left me with 3 days worth of leftovers. Also ordered some sushi roles and they were decent too! I will definitely order from them again!

This was probably the best Asian buffet I have ever been to in my life. They had such a diverse amount of selections available. The sushi was top notch.I really enjoyed the service as they were always there to take my plate when I got up.Such a great experience and I can't wait to go back.

Staff friendly AMAZING delicious food. Inexpensive for lunch, be hungry when going. There is a lot to choose from. We live in southern Iowa and it would be worth the drive to eat there. We stayed in St. Robert for our grandsons graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. Beautiful town everyone was friendly and helpful. Thank you

Huge buffet with a ton of choices...Asian fare, shrimp several ways to pizza. Salad bar and desserts. My plate always has the Pepper Chicken (has the perfect kick), Fried Rice, and a couple CrabRangoon. If you leave hungry...it's your own fault.

Hibachi was fantastic, buffet was ok and the waitress was so great and funny.

Nice buffet! Very attentive staff. The coconut shrimp, cilantro chicken, and sushi are my jam but everything is good. Not to mention it's a pretty big buffet👍👍

Very tasty food. Very good service. No Spicy Tuna Sushi, that's my favorite, but what I tried off the sushi bar was very good! Awesome selection of different foods on the buffet, even frog legs. Really enjoyed our visit!

Good food lots to choose from friendly staff and nice atmosphere

I'm really surprised with this place usually buffets like this are just okay or outright bad. Food was always fresh and they changed out old good. They reloaded empty dishes pretty quickly and the price is pretty fair.

A great buffet with a wide variety of both Chinese and American themed dishes. The shrimp sushi was amazing, and I got to try crawfish, for the first time. They were quick to seat us for the amount of people that visit.
